Gen-1, Runway's video-to-video generative AI for generating new videos out of existing ones using text prompts and images, has been officially released and is now publically available.
Featuring several modes for creating and customizing 1 to 3 seconds-long videos, Gen-1 is capable of applying the composition and style of an image or a text prompt to the structure of the source video, realistically and consistently synthesizing new videos as a result. First introduced back in February, the tool can finally be tested out, with every user getting 400 free credits to use for generating new videos. You can learn more and try it out yourself here.
