Satisfying Plasticity To Blender Setup With Bevel Shader

See how to streamline creating complex hard-surface 3D pieces.

3D Artist Alexei Kolb, also known as munsplit, showcased the Plasticity to Blender Bridge add-on using bevel shader, offering a clever and efficient method to speed up your 3D modeling workflow.

Regarding topology, the artist noted that while it's sufficient for working, it will require some effort to make it look aesthetically pleasing. However, even with that, the process is still much faster than poly-modeling.

For those interested in mastering lightweight NURBS modeling software Plasticity, check out Alexei Kolb's YouTube channel and official Plasticity channel, full of various tutorials:

The Blender Bridge add-on allows fast mesh data transfer from Plasticity to Blender with a single refresh, with no need for exports or complex settings. Modifications in Plasticity preserve Blender materials, and group structures are transferred as collections. Plasticity document names define Blender's hierarchy, allowing multiple Plasticity files in one Blender project, and the live link feature also provides updates in real-time.
