Savior – A New 2D Action-Adventure Tale

Savior is an open-world, action-adventure platformer, centered on rebuilding the divided planet of Arcadia. Players will beb given a quest to save the people they discover from problems like hunger, superstition, tyranny, and destruction. As you complete your mission, you’ll earn experience, abilities, powerful tools and allies to aid you in your quest.

You’ll play as Sam, a stranger with no possessions or memory who explores the world to learn of origin and place among the characters the character encounters. “Battle, evade and persuade your enemies to join you in rebuilding a broken world.”

The team wanted combat to feel as real and engaging as possible, so blocks, dodges, and strikes are clean and reactive. “NPCs have attack patterns that you’ll learn over time, so fights are quick as you come to anticipate your opponent’s reactions,” noted the team.
