See How You Can Make Stylized Eyes Using ZBrush in This Tutorial

Julia Acherontias will teach you in one minute.

Eyes can be challenging to create in 3D, but character artist Julia Acherontias can show you how to do it in a few simple steps.

In her short ZBrush tutorial, she says that to make stylized eyes, you need to create a sphere, assign polygroups to the iris of the pupil and the iris edge, duplicate and separate the polygons from each other, and slide them forward.

Then, you need to duplicate the pupil to make highlights, create a thickness for your meshes, and divide it. Finally, apply a gradient from a dark shade to a light one on the iris, using a lighter and saturated shade for an accent.

Acherontias uses these tips in her own projects, which you can find on X/Twitter and ArtStation

You can also learn how to make eyes, anime and realistic, and then rig them from other artists who appeared on 80 Level.
