Selfloss Developer Introduces Manual Aim in Latest Update of His New Indie Game

Alex Goodwin's low-poly adventure continues.

Alex Goodwin, the indie developer who created Selfloss, an adventure set in a Slavic-inspired world, is now working on a new project with low-poly PlayStation 1 vibes, and he has some updates to share.

Goodwin is not ready to talk about the game in detail, but you can see the protagonist wearing a gas mask traversing toxic environments and shooting a zombie-like mutated creature and a boss that looks like a lemon.

In the latest post, Alex switched from auto-aim to manual to make the experience more immersive. Which do you like better?

We don't know much about the game except that it's made with Unreal Engine and set in a world of "massive pipes and gothic skyscrapers" with dangerous waste everywhere.

If you want to see more, visit the creator on X/Twitter and check out our interview, where he busts the myth that Unreal Engine is not good for stylized adventures.
