There is a great chance that PC players can get their hands on Stellar Blade this year. Developer Shift Up has high hopes that popular action-adventure will sell better on the PC platform than on the PS5.
When asked about the expected sales for the PC version at the earnings call for FY2024, Shift Up highlighted the higher market share of PC devices, especially in the AAA game market. This fact is accompanied by "trends such as the significant expansion of the single-player action game market in the Asian gaming industry." Therefore, they "expect the performance of the PC version to exceed that of the console version."
"We have identified and analyzed both successful and underperforming cases of console exclusives released on PC, and we are preparing to release the game in a way that ensures continued success in the PC market." (Thanks, VGC)

In order to achieve this goal, the developers will take "tailored marketing strategies unique to Shift Up" and also bring improvements to the PC version, which includes "enhancing user convenience, adding supplementary content."
Stellar Blade has been a huge success, selling over a million copies globally two months after its release on PS5 in April last year. Although it's not disclosed how the later sales went, the title's great success, along with the contribution from the third-person shooter Goddess of Victory: Nikke, helped the company achieve the highest annual revenue, which saw a 30% YoY increase.
An earlier IPO filing on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index revealed that the company might have a sequel plan. In addition to Stellar Blade, Shift Up is also working on a cross-platform project, code-named Project Witches.
