You can join Headliners' playtest on Steam.
If you are a horror game fan who enjoys playing games together with friends, Headliners might be the type of game you'd be interested in.
The game is set in New York, a once-prosperous city decorated with neon lights that is now under attack by mysterious creatures. You and up to three other teammates act as brave journalists looking for spectacular footage that will dominate the headlines. You've got different areas to search for, including streets or buildings, and keep your eyes wide open for anything worthy of a shot.
Each turn might bring you hope of discovering something thrilling, while it might also come up with horrible creatures whose only target is tearing up the whole city, including your squad. Amidst the chaos, capture snapshots using the camera, whether it is about destruction, alien invaders, or the moments of your squad members making some funny poses when the giant monster approaches.

For each expedition session, you'll consume one press card. If you're fortunate enough to survive, the photos will be scored to determine whether they are worthy of headlines. If they are, you'll be able to continue your journey.
France-based developer KAFI Games has shared two more clips from the game. One of them showcases a crawling skinny creature that throws away the developer who's waving to say hi to the community, and the other footage shows a cruel yet funny moment when a team member gets kicked out into the sky by a monster suddenly emerging from a manhole cover.
If you like the concept of this co-op horror game that's set to bring some chaotic fun, don't hesitate to join the Headliners playtest by clicking the "Request Access" button on its Steam page, and don't forget to add the game to your wishlist if you'd like to try the game upon its launch in the first quarter of 2025.
