This release updates the software's algorithm for Boolean operations with smooth beveling and adds the ability to cut detailed text into curved surfaces.
First launched in 2021, this add-on developed by Alexey Vanzhula allows one to perform Boolean modeling on polygonal meshes in the Houdini viewport and apply accurate bevels to the geometry.
Soft Boolean 2025 release mainly focuses on updating the software's algorithm for Boolean operations, introducing quality and stability for smoother operations, especially the adjustment of sharp corners with bevel resampling.

Among a few new features, the developer highlights the ability to cut 3D text into curved surfaces, which was previously impossible, new fine-tuning parameters, and a new method for creating falloffs to smoothly change the bevel radius in specific areas.
Some new shelf tools have also been introduced with this update, including hole detection, quick cutter finding, and others.
