Sonic Movie Trailer Remade By A Fan

Paramount has recently presented the first look at the Sonic movie, and people didn’t like it. Actually, they hated the way Sonic looked. A more “realistic” look was just scary and had nothing to do with the word “cute”. Director Jeff Fowler listened and eventually announced that they’ll do another version.

The art team is now working hard trying to improve the beloved hero. In the meantime, YouTuber Artur Baranov released his own version of the trailer featuring cartoon-style Sonic. He tried to recreate Sonic’s traditional look and the results are actually pretty good.

Well, the remade trailer is not a professional product, of course, but it’s a great concept that demonstrates fans’ ideas. Imagine the same trailer with more time and resources spent on it. Some might say that a cartoon Sonic is not a great idea for the real world, but the trailer shows it’s actually a pretty good fit.

Now we’re just waiting for the Paramount remake that will hopefully make us want to watch the full movie.
