Sony has wireless earbuds and a new wireless headset for PlayStation 5 in development, according to Insider Gaming.
The earbuds, called Project Nomad, will have around 5 hours of battery life and can be charged via a USB-C cable connected to PS5.
Along with the earbuds, the company is reportedly working on a wireless headset named Voyager. Sources say the headset has similar functionality to Inzone H7, which costs about $200. The new headset's price is not yet determined.
Both Nomad and Voyager are said to be released at the end of the Fiscal Year 2023, which means we might see them at the beginning of 2024. As Insider Gaming notes, the dates correspond nicely with the expected launch of the new PlayStation 5 featuring a detachable disc drive, which should be out in September this year, according to Tom Henderson.
