During the recently-concluded PlayStation Showcase 2023, Sony officially revealed Project Q, a new handheld device for streaming games from a PlayStation 5 using Remote Play over Wi-Fi and playing them on the go.
Featuring an 8-inch LCD screen, capable of up to 1080p resolution at 60 FPS, and all of the buttons and features of the DualSense wireless controller, including adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, the gadget was designed to "deliver crisp visuals and smooth gameplay streamed from your PS5 when you’re away from your TV". According to Sony, Project Q will be released sometime in 2023.
In addition, the company also presented its first-ever official wireless earbuds, compatible with PC, PS5, and smartphones via Bluetooth. As per the announcement trailer, the earbuds will incorporate cutting-edge wireless advancements developed by SIE, ensuring a premium audio experience with lossless sound and minimal delay. Similar to the Project Q, the official launch of the earbuds is scheduled for later this year.
