Sony Won't Let You Play Concord, Even on Fan-Set Servers
Sony doesn't allow the revival of its biggest flop.

When you think about big game failures, Concord is probably the first that comes to your mind. Shut down 2 weeks after its launch, together with its developer Firewalk, the shooter was likely Sony's most shameful project, and it doesn't want anyone to ever return to it, it seems.
Not everyone hated the game, and some fans, Red, Real & Gwog, decided to recreate it on PC and open invitation-only servers for other players.
However, Sony didn't like it and started actively taking down YouTube videos with the gameplay. Someone MarkScan, who reportedly works for Sony, sends DMCA strikes to those who dare to share footage from new Concord servers.
The developers of the fan version shared on the Concord Delta Discord that "due to worrying legal action we’ve decided to pause invites for the time being" (via Insider Gaming).
So, Sony shuts down Concord again. Does it want to forget this spot on its reputation, or is it simply an IP issue? In any case, hopefully, those few who loved the game will find a way to play it.
