Platform 8 continues from the idea of The Exit 8.
If you follow any letsplayers on YouTube, you must have seen them playing Platform 8, a newly released horror game and sequel to The Exit 8, a surprisingly popular indie. Both titles have the same idea: you are trapped in endless space and need to spot anomalies and try to get out.

In Platform 8, you wander around neverending subway trains full of spooky anomalies, including mannequins, bloody handprints, and giant eyes, in search of a way out. This walking simulator is inspired by Japanese metro and liminal spaces and will provide you with 15 to 60 minutes of tense atmosphere.

It's not scary in a classic way, but the anticipation of the next creepy anomaly doesn't let you relax even for a minute.

The concept of anomalies was repopularized by I'm on Observation Duty, one of the most interesting takes on the "quiet horror" genre, so if you enjoy Platform 8, try that series as well as The Exit 8 and, of course, other Backrooms games.
