Pricing and a major technical issue are to blame for the game's unexpected short stay on Steam.

The popular MMO squad-based shooter, Enlisted: Reinforced, developed by Darkflow Software and published by Gaijin Entertainment, has been delisted from the Steam Store due to pricing controversies and major technical issues.

The game, which was slated for a Steam launch in Q1 this year, did make its appearance on March 28th with Early Access. However, it was soon removed due to concerns with its pricing and integral bugs that hindered players from transferring their progress from Gaijin’s launcher to their Steam account.

The game was priced at $20 for Early Access on Steam, which is "bundled with a paid DLC ". This stirred up controversy within the Enlisted community since the original PC version remains available for free play on the official site. Though the game has been removed from the store and reviews have disappeared, as caught by PC Gamer, " Enlisted: Reinforced is currently sitting with a 'mixed' user rating, with 56% positive user reviews. "
Other than that, some players are experiencing issues with synchronizing their progress due to a technical obstacle. According to the developer:
"Unfortunately there is a significant technical obstacle preventing us from making the linking process smooth enough. It occurs if a player already linked their Steam account in another Gaijin.Net game, but the email used there and the one used for Enlisted do not match. This completely breaks our linking procedure."

As of now, there is no clear information regarding whether the game will return to Steam soon or its pricing upon return. To know more about what exactly happened, please check the developer's official announcement.
