According to Robert Space Industries, the upcoming game has raised $250 million via crowdfunding campaign.
Star Citizen is an upcoming game from Cloud Imperium Game Corporation. The game has been in the development for almost 8 years and wasn't released yet.
On its website, Star Citizen is described as the game that puts ultimate control in the hands of the player, whether you're making your way as a cargo hauler, exploring the vastness of space, or scraping out a living outside the law, you will navigate through a mixture of procedurally generated and handcrafted worlds and interact with a variety of characters.
Earlier in December 2018, it was reported that the game received $46 million from the private investment. As for now, the game raised $250 million and has gained almost 2.5 million players.
You can download the Alpha 3.7 version now. New features will be released as soon as they are developed.
