Play it anywhere.
Starfield is going to launch very soon, and suddenly, it very quietly received an "Xbox Play Anywhere" tag, meaning the game will support cross-platform saves so you can play it on both PC and Xbox without losing progress.
Even though neither Bethesda nor Microsoft confirmed the crossplay function, this tag along with the "Xbox cloud saves" one makes me think this is happening, as I can't come up with another explanation, so great news here.
This feature is available for digital copies though, so if you buy a disk it will not let you own Starfield on both PC and console.
The benefits of Xbox Play Anywhere are clear: you have the game on both devices and can play it in your chair with a keyboard and mouse or on your sofa with a controller. It is also more secure as you don't lose anything if something happens to your PC.
While Starfield doesn't have some features players enjoy, like fishing or mounts, it promises a thousand planets to explore, so there's a lot to do, and crossplay is very handy for this prolonged play.
Starfield is launching on September 6. Buy the game here and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Threads, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
