A few days ago, Valve released a beta version of Steam Deck OS 3.4.6, updating the handheld's graphics driver to Mesa 23.1 and fixing several functional and performance issues. With this update, the company also announced that the console version of id Software and Bethesda's 2020 DOOM Eternal now supports ray tracing, marking the first time a Steam Deck title officially comes with proper ray tracing. According to the console developer Pierre-Loup Griffais, who shared the screenshot attached above, the ray-traced version of the shooter runs at 35 FPS.
The update also fixes graphical corruption issues and GPU crashes in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and in several upcoming titles. You can learn more by clicking this link.
