Frost Giant Studios, the developer behind the upcoming Stormgate, a real-time strategy game, has once again asked players for help. You might wonder what help I'm talking about. Well, the studio says that it's looking for investments and players who could fund the game to "support marketing efforts for Stormgate's upcoming Early Access launch on Steam."

"The funds we secure will bolster a strategic marketing campaign, setting the stage for Stormgate's Early Access launch this summer. This initiative invites our supporters to upgrade into shareholders," the studio's CFO Tim Morten stated.

Previously, the studio, founded by ex-Blizzard developers, raised $34.7 million from various investment groups and companies like Riot Games, the team further gathered $2.3 million through a successful Kickstarter campaign. Currently, Frost Giant is gearing up for a new funding round, asking fans to invest in their venture.

The full investment campaign is scheduled to begin in March, but Frost Giant has launched a "Test the Waters" page on StartEngine for early reservations.

Unlike Kickstarter, where backers receive rewards, here you are purchasing shares in the company directly. As with any investment, there are risks involved, as stated in the StartEngine disclaimer about potential losses.
