In the six months, Capcom sold 22.6 million game copies, an improvement compared to last year's 21.3 million units. Part of the success has to be attributed to Street Fighter 6, released in June, which had sold 2.47 million units by the end of September, according to the report. The company sold 2 million copies a month after its launch and wants to reach 10 million with this game.
Another notable title of the year is the Resident Evil 4 remake, launched in March. It reached 5.45 million units cumulatively, supported by promotional measures and pricing strategies.
As for other games, Capcom reported MegaMan Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 sold 1.42 million units, Exoprimal attracted over 1 million users, and Monster Hunter Now downloads exceeded 5 million.

Sales are not the only positive news for Capcom: international police have recently taken down ransomware group Ragnar Locker, which had stolen 1TB of data from the company in 2020.
