Stylized Black Hole Visualized with Godot
HeyTibo shared the process of creating the setup for WIP platformer Wild Cosmos.
3D Artist HeyTibo showcased this amazing stylized recreation of a black hole made using Godot. The artist shared that with this piece, he aimed to create something more geometrical. HeyTibo crafted the prop live during a Twitch stream, covering the entire creation process.
The setup was created for the artist's WIP platformer Wild Cosmos, where you play as an astronaut lost in an unknown world. The game is described by the developer as an introspective journey about the self and its relationship with solitude. As the game's character, you wake up after crashing into an unknown asteroid belt. As your ship most likely broke down, you need to explore the mysterious alien world, leap between asteroids, meet peculiar fauna and flora, and find a way to repair your spaceship.
