Check out this photorealistic spiderweb, which is not a photo but a hyperrealistic visualization created with Substance 3D Designer by Romain Lemaire, Senior Material Artist at Arrowhead.
The artist shared that he wanted to give a try to the spline tools in the mentioned software, and his first test evolved into creating this tool, Procedural Spiderweb Generator. It is a generator node for Substance 3D Designer, allowing for creating a realistic spiderweb mask, with controllable frame shape, tension, and gravity. The artist noted that the generator exports a B&W mask, and the dew effect and final render are not included.
