Take a moment to admire this animation with a mighty smilodon, an extinct species of feline, created by Character Animator Mrinal Soni.
The setup was made for INSTINCTION, an action-adventure featuring prehistoric animals set in a lost Mesoamerican land, by a group of talented artists. The animal model and its texturing were made by Character Artist vikas P., rigging work was done by Rigging Artist Vimlesh Kumar, and Sanjay Singh and Jade Saunders were responsible for art direction.
Mrinal Soni already showcased some of the works created for the game, including a marine reptile animation, a walk cycle animation of Sarcosuchus, an extinct distant relative of crocodiles, and a test of Creature Station's Baryonyx rig:
