Take a Look at This Coraline-Like Psychological Horror Game
Mutter is an upcoming atmospheric experience that has a demo.
Take a look at Mutter, an upcoming horror adventure crafted in stop-motion style, developed by DeadlyCrow Games.
The story is set in rural England in 1940, where a young 9-year-old boy named Maddox Holloway faces a deeply personal terror as his mother slowly transforms into a monstrous creature. He must confront what she becomes under a dark affliction while handling fear, suffering, and an overwhelming sense of responsibility.
The haunting world, reminiscent of Coraline, is created with a handcrafted stop-motion aesthetic and features environmental puzzles and platformer mechanics, along with exploring the countryside with a bicycle to reach new locations between quests.

The developers focus on psychological tension, shaping the game into a thrilling experience:
"The flavour of horror we are tapping into leans more to psychological tension and memorable emotional impact rather than traditional horror."
