Take a Look at This Cozy Exploration Game Where You Create a Map Yourself

Check out Map Map – A Game About Maps, a relaxing cozy exploration game from Pipapo Games, in which you create a layout of a land that you explore in search of a treasure.

You take on the role of a cartographer, traveling with a small crew of adventurers, and help them find a long-lost legendary treasure. The unique feature of the game is that nothing appears on the map until you discover it and draw it on your own layout. As an explorer, you investigate the island, find the locations, and pinpoint them on your chart. 

In completing quests, you use navigation tools like a real explorer and follow real cartography logic to mark ruins, landmarks, and secrets onto your map. You navigate by compass and scan the horizon with telescopes and sextants. The game favors a creative approach with multiple ways to solve a challenge, and it is up to you how to take on each task.

The release is planned for Q2 2026, and now the playable demo is available. Recently, the developers shared a demo update, introducing a new island with three missions, new dialogues with two new characters, another treasure to find, new stickers, and a complete intro cutscene.
