Take a Look at This Fun Game Where You Renovate 1990s Flats
The title of Low-Budget Repairs speaks for itself, as the game tasks you with managing renovations using as few resources as possible.
Check out this cool game, in which you take on the role of a DIY handyman who manages renovations in weathered apartments. Low-Budget Repairs, developed by Gray2RGB, is an entertaining sim with a distinct nostalgic atmosphere inspired by the 1990s.
In Low-Budget Repairs, you run a small business in a Polish block of flats during the 90s and take on various renovation and repair jobs, from fixing a flooded bathroom to making a complete makeover. You need to manage the orders and expenses. However, your character has a peculiar approach to the work, guided by the motto, "Perfection is overrated." The game's task is to maximize profits by minimizing costs wherever possible.

To do this, you take various measures that are probably not the best advice in real life: diluting paint with water despite the color becoming less vibrant, laying tiles without a level, or throwing furniture out of the window if it doesn't fit through the door. Overall, the goal of the game is to put in the least effort while making as much money as possible, even if it leads to a cascade of problems along the way.

The game's idea is reminiscent of that of the Sombrero Labs' driving and trading sim titled Totally Legit Wheeler Dealer, in which players take on the role of a car dealer who resells old used cars after some tuning procedures, which are not always effective, to say the least:
