Take a Look at This Geometry Nodes Tool for Creating Realistic Clouds

The tool allows for visualizing cumulus, cirrus, and other types of clouds, and animating them.

Wolf, CG Artist specializing in creating Blender assets, showcased this Blender Geometry Nodes tool that allows for creating mesmerizing, impressively realistic skyscapes. The generator is designed to work with Cycles.

The tool integrates a multilayered cloud system, which is useful to achieve different configurations. Daylight skies, warm sunset shades, fluffy cumulus or delicate cirrus clouds – you can choose any type you like to make your 3D scene more believable and picturesque.

The asset pack includes four cloud types:

  • Cumulus
  • Cumulonimbus
  • Cirrus
  • Altocumulus

Clouds and the sky atmosphere are of realistic size and feature physically based shaders with accurate air and water particle sizes. The clouds are procedurally generated, allowing for flexibility in altering their size, coverage, and look. They can also be animated:
