The artist aimed to follow the series' distinct visual style and translate its signature fluidity and energy within a three-dimensional space. As Josué Júnior shares, he studied the animation techniques that made the series so visually appealing to bring weight and impact to each motion. Also, the artist focused on the interaction of fire and the character and examined how the element can complement the character's action.
Last year, Avatar: the Last Airbender, a beloved animated TV show that aired from 2005 to 2008, received a live-action adaptation from Netflix. Apart from this, there was news that Paramount Game Studios and Saber Interactive will develop a AAA game adaptation of the show.
