Take a Look at This Stunning Animation with Chappie Made Using Blender

An amazing work by ElementLiam.

Check out this cool animation featuring Chappie from Neill Blomkamp's 2015 movie, created by 3D Artist ElementLiam.

The animator brought to life the character using a rig from Sketchfab, giving him expressive and fluid motion. The character shows first stealthy and then active combat moves, professionally crafted by the animator. ElementLiam explained that the setup is hand-animated, with a few passes with blocking and poses, and then with some smoothing and refining added in the course and in the end of the workflow.
