Tasty 3D Cheeseburger Cooked in Cinema 4D

You'll get hungry after seeing Brian Regg's work.

Cheeseburgers are not usually put in blenders, but this one was made better because of it. Artist Brian Regg created a delicious-looking 3D burger using ZBrush, Cinema 4D, Redshift, and some help from Houdini.

This lettuce seems especially fresh and realistic: the artist scaled down a plane in one axis using Transpose Cloth in ZBrush, used a deformer to widen the top and taper the base, and cut it with Knife Lasso in the right shape.

He then enabled Collision Volume in the Dynamics tab and placed it using Transpose Cloth on top of the bun, added some noise to the edges, and made some details.

"If you wanna use more than one lettuce, you have to make each lettuce as a separate subtool and place it separately, also enable Dynamic Subdiv (and add thickness) to each lettuce that you placed previously to have a proper collision."

Enjoy Brian's work on Reddit if you like this one:

We also have a photorealistic burger for you to feast your eyes on and a breakdown of a nice burger material made with Substance 3D.
