Terminator Anime New Trailer Unveiled, Set to Launch on Judgement Day

The highly anticipated anime series, TERMINATOR ZERO, which is the first animated project in the Terminator franchise, has released its first trailer. The eight-part anime is set to premiere on Netflix on August 29, 2024, a date that excited the fans as being Judgement Day from Terminator 2.

The trailer provides us a taste of the series' slick animation and intense action, featuring plenty of explosions and robotic skulls that capture the essence of the Terminator. The show's storyline follows a resistance fighter sent back to 1997 to protect a scientist developing an AI that could rival Skynet.

The series is a project from Skydance and Production I.G, led by Masashi Kudō and Mattson Tomlin. The voice cast boasts big names like Timothy Olyphant, Rosario Dawson, Sonoya Mizuno, André Holland, and Ann Dowd, with Olyphant lending his voice to the Terminator.
