The release date of Nightdive Studios' remake of System Shock draws near and fans of the game are eagerly waiting for the launch.
However, the excitement doesn't end there for System Shock fans, as they have something else to look forward to – The Art of System Shock, a hardcover art book that will provide an inside look at the development of the remake.
As reported by IGN, this 192-page hardcover book, a result of a collaboration between Dark Horse Books and Nightdive, will be packed with plenty of concept art showcasing the Citadel space station, the game's diverse enemies, props, and much more.
Additionally, it will feature developer commentary and behind-the-scenes stories that will provide a look at the development process behind the remake, allowing fans to delve deeper into its creation.
The Art of System Shock has a price tag of $49.99. It is scheduled to be released in bookstores on February 13, 2024, and in comic shops on February 14, 2024.
The release date of the System Shock remake has been pushed back from its original March release to May 30 for PC. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will be released after the PC launch, but a specific date has not been confirmed yet.
