According to the recent information surfaced online, Striking Distance Studios, the developer behind The Callisto Protocol games, is working on a new unannounced project, which will be built on Unreal Engine 5.

As spotted by MauroNL, the company has posted a job listing for a Lead Gameplay Animator, who can contribute to the creation of "the most dynamic and engaging player and enemy experiences."

"Striking Distance Studios is looking for a Lead Gameplay Animator to help us create the most dynamic and engaging player and enemy experiences for a brand new, unannounced UE5 title," reads the job description. "The Lead Gameplay Animator's main responsibilities are to plan, organize, supervise, and inspire the work of his/her team."

The studio hasn't shared any more details, but it's still good to hear that Striking Distance Studios is up to something. If you're a Lead Gameplay Animator and would like to apply for the position, here's the post.

In September 2023, Glen Schofield, the founder of Striking Distance Studios, announced his departure from the company. Schofield stated that it was because he chose to pursue new opportunities, but apparently, the reason was the failed release of their debut game, The Callisto Protocol.
