The Fantastic Four: First Steps VFX Breakdown Released

Digital Domain and RISE showcased their work on Marvel's latest film.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe's long-awaited reboot of Fantastic Four embraces a retro-futuristic style, utilizing extensive practical effects to craft a tangible, 1960s-inspired world while still integrating significant CGI. We can now take a behind-the-scenes look at the work of VFX studios through new videos from Digital Domain and RISE.

RISE was responsible for the environments and brought Julia Garner's Silver Surfer to life with her iconic reflective look. Digital Domain mostly focused on The Thing and Baby Franklin, along with all the story-driving sequences set in the Baxter Building:
