The Foundry drops “The” in the name to rebuild its vision and community. A post on LinkedIn shows that the company is going through some major changes, introducing a new domain and a new website.

Today we reveal a new vision for our brand. Along with a new website encompassing our vision, we are moving to a new domain (www.foundry.com), dropping the “The” in our name, and unveiling a brand new Community for all Foundry artists to share their passion and creativity.

We are committed to be expert partners, to be always approachable and making things constantly better. This how we want to advance the art and technology of visual experience.

For those of you unfamiliar with the company’s work, Foundry creates award-winning computer graphics and visual effects (VFX) software used by artists, designers and creative professionals. Foundry is known for 3D packages like Modo, Mari, Nuke and other solutions, which you can find here.
