The Hotfix for Diablo IV Beta Improves Server Stability and Queue Times

Blizzard has thanked players for "overwhelming response to the Early Access beta weekend" and addressed some of the issues that emerged during the beta test.

Since that update, Blizzard has confirmed that it has released hotfixes that are expected to significantly enhance specific aspects of the Diablo IV beta. One of the recent hotfixes fixed a problem with never-ending queues on consoles, which had emerged after a previous hotfix which was aimed to improve queue times for the beta in general. The hotfixes also targeted server stability issues that the Blizzard development team had been monitoring.

"We would like to thank everyone for taking the time to play, provide feedback and share your experiences with us. We will continue to share updates as we hear back from the team," community manager filthierich wrote in the latest update. "Thanks again for your patience and understanding – we appreciate you all so much."

Although a number of issues, including rubberbanding and the fact that some players did not see the scheduled Diablo IV beta world boss event spawn on Saturday night, haven't been fixed yet, hopefully, Blizzard will tackle these concerns before the open beta commences next weekend. Next open beta test will start on March 24 and run throughout the weekend, open to all players on all supported platforms.
