The Last of Us II's Ellie Recreated in 3D With Maya and ZBrush

Following on the earlier promise, Rajitha Naranpanawa shared more renders and behind-the-scenes shots for the Ellie portrait.

In case you missed it, a few weeks ago, Character Artist Rajitha Naranpanawa unveiled a 3D recreation of The Last of Us II's Ellie, showcasing the WiP version of the character made with Mari, Maya, ZBrush, XGen, V-Ray, DaVinci Resolve, and TexturingXYZ's materials.

Following on the promise to share another look at the portrait once it is complete, the artist has recently published a new collection of renders and behind-the-scenes shots, showcasing the completed work. According to the creator, the aim was to make the final renders look more cinematic, stylizing them as still shots taken from a movie.

You can check out more of Rajitha's works by visiting the artist's ArtStation and Instagram pages. Also, don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
