The Metallica Game We’ll Never Play

While James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Rob Trujillo are getting ready to release their next album, there’s more news on the legendary band. Over a decade ago there were plans on a Metallica video game, but the title never got released. Now, at least, we can check out some footage to see the potential of the cancelled project. 

PtoPOnline presented a very early build of the game (called Damage Inc.) with only a single half-finished level, but so much metal! The game could be a vehicular combat game set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where you drive in cars, shooting at other cars with some rad guns. 

 The footage demonstrates how the game would have looked like on PS2.
