The Settlers 3-Inspired Stylized Village In Modern 3D Look

Check out Martin Teichmann's project.

As a tribute to the classic 2D city-building games of the late '90s, such as Knights and Merchants and The Settlers 3, which Martin Teichmann fondly remembers, this project reimagines how those games might look in a modern 3D engine.

The environment features a collection of buildings with a core focus on creating a scalable pipeline that supports the seamless addition of new structures while maintaining solid performance. To achieve a distinctive, toy-like aesthetic, Martin heavily used baked masks to blend tiling materials.
