The System Shock Remake Is Set to Get a Big Patch Coming This April
It'll feature a revised ending, a new female character, and more.

Yesterday, Nightdive Studios, the developer behind the System Shock remake took to Twitter and shared that a big patch is on its way.
Released in May 2023, the game has gathered a lot of positive feedback from players. At the moment, the game has over 92% of good reviews on Steam.
Nightdive, in the patch notes on its Steam page, announces that players will now have the option to play as a female character for the first time, so it's a piece of good news for those awaiting this feature.
Additionally, the game's ending will undergo significant changes, with the patch notes promising "new mechanics and a unique flow" upon the launch of Patch 1.2.
The patch notes also introduce Steam Cloud Sync support and a range of other updates and bug fixes, including significant optimizations for Steam Deck users.
As we reported earlier, The System Shock remake is also set to release on May 21 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, a year after being laucnhed for PC.
