Edgar Martinez has shown wireframe renders from the game created with Maya Mental Ray.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is beautiful. Just check out our collection of amazing artwork from Naughty Dog’s team here if you don’t believe us. This beauty is all about complex wireframes, of course. The game features outstanding architecture with intricate geometry and the LOD is crazy here.
Here is an example from Edgar Martinez for you to get a closer look at the game’s guts. The artist has shown wireframe renders from Maya Mental Ray.
All building share many instances and the geometry on this renders represent the highest LOD on them. I was responsible for modeling the environment and all the buildings, the interpretation of design block out, layout, set dressing, collision.
