The Witcher 4 is perhaps the most anticipated title from Polish developer CD Projekt Red. Along with this high level of anticipation come fraudsters who would like to take advantage of players' enthusiasm to do something unrelated.
Recently, CDPR has reminded those who received invitations to The Witcher 4's beta test to report them wherever they saw it, whether in their email inbox or on a social media platform. They're simply scams and fraudulent messages, and the team has taken action to take them down.
They also said in advance that, should any tests be organized in the future, players would be able to receive relevant information from the official social media accounts.
The Witcher 4, featuring Ciri as the protagonist, left the pre-production period and entered the full production phase last November. But there will be a few years until we can experience it, as the last earning call in March confirmed that it will not be released until, at the earliest, 2027.
If you've watched the cinematic reveal trailer and were impressed with the duel between Ciri and Bauk, you might be interested in watching Platige Image's new video showing how it was staged.
