It might seem like footage of a real cat walking on a matte glass tabletop, but this is actually a 3D animation created by Joe Albin-Clark in Blender. But wait, that's not the only surprise: look closer and you will see a little anomaly in the cat's paws.
No, 8 legs is not a creepy occurrence; it's a nice trick to simulate movement. If you look at the viewport, you'll find 2 cats overlapping:
"It’s intentionally meant to feel like a glitch. I had the normal 4 legs, looked great but maybe a little simple, and wanted to spice it up," the creator explained.
