This Base-Building Survival RTS Will Launch 1.0 Version Soon

Diplomacy is Not an Option brings you the fun of massive violence.

Door 407, formed by a group of developers passionate about strategy games, has announced that Diplomacy is Not an Option, a real-time strategy game set in “a medieval fantasy world,” will leave the early access period and launch the 1.0 version soon.

Originally launched in February 2022, the game makes you a minor lord who has to deal with tons of challenges every day about management and city development, and this makes you feel exhausted. All of a sudden, the situation starts to change as “hordes of bloodlusted enemies, zounds of scary monsters, and crowds of rebellious peasants at any second can bring some life to your working schedule.”

The game promises to present “epic battles,” and the way how the enemy hordes were destroyed and blown up by bombs and lasers, as shown in the trailer, brings some weird satisfaction.

It wouldn’t be an easy task to survive as you will need to “master engineering, economy and even magic.” When arranging the locations for gates and lines for advancement and retreat, you must take into consideration physical laws because “every arrow, catapult stone, and enemy launched skywards is physically modeled.”

To feed your hardworking soldiers, farming is necessary to obtain food for them. You’ll also need to bury those who sacrificed themselves in the wars and build houses to block the spread of the plague. The game offers 3 modes to choose from: endless mode, sandbox mode, and challenge mode.

The 1.0 version will be launched on October 4 and will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG. It will contain content that keeps you busy with “pure massive violence” for over 100 hours.
