3D Artist Mizzauro has just released Shape Key Smoother, an alternative to Blender's native features. This tool enables you to quickly create smooth shape keys by allowing you to rough out a shape key and then smooth it selectively using the surrounding area.
Unlike Blender's built-in Smooth operator in Edit mode or the Smooth brush in Sculpt mode, which often distort volume and shape, this method maintains them intact.
