See what's new in Marko Šašić's RigX.
This summer, we featured RigX by 2DNAC and Marko Šašić, a rigging solution designed to streamline pipelines for both game and film production. It's lightweight, doesn't use joints or blendshapes, is fully adjustable through an easy-to-use GUI, and is also compatible with MetaHumans, with one-click automatic transfers into the RigX system. There are also over 800 expression combinations, including scars, shape-shifting, and stylized controls for full creative flexibility.
RigX has now entered its beta phase. To join, you'll need to request access through the official Discord server.
RigX is reportedly already fully functional in Maya, with Unreal Engine support coming soon. A full-body solution is also in development for both Maya and Unreal.
