This Disco Elysium-Style Time Loop RPG Has Been Released

Rue Valley, a story-rich RPG about a man stuck in a time loop, developed by Emotion Spark Studio, has been released on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

The peculiar story is set in a small town of Rue Valley and follows a character stuck in a temporal trap. While trying to break free from the time loop, the character embarks on a journey of self-discovery and resilience. You can craft the personality of your character, from a cold-hearted loner to a melodramatic loudmouth, and it will shape the dialogue and the story.

You will also communicate with other town dwellers, each with their own background, and explore different timelines and dialogue choices to experience various outcomes, as the time loop resets each time.

As shared by the developers, Rue Valley's eye-catching graphics, inspired by comic book art style, were created starting from a hand-drawn illustration, which is then layered onto 3D geometry:
