This JRPG by Persona Director Gets a 16-Min Gameplay Trailer

Developers of Metaphor: ReFantazio, an upcoming Japanese RPG featuring anime style, presented a 16-minute video showcasing its gameplay at Gamescom 2024: 

The game was created by Studio Zero, which was founded in 2016 by ATLUS, a well-known Japanese video game developer, and published by SEGA. Led by Katsura Hashino, who is the director behind several Persona games, Studio Zero aims to create original titles in the fantasy genre and Metaphor: ReFantazio is their debute game. 

In the fantasy world Metaphor: ReFantazio, you will embark on a journey with a fairy friend. “Control your destiny, face your fears and awaken magical 'Archetype' powers that lie dormant in your heart. By awakening to an “Archetype,” you will unlock the power to channel and combine the abilities of unique job classes. Strengthen your bonds and build your party to take down powerful foes and discover the kingdom’s true nature.”

The game will be released on October 11 on PlayStation 4 & 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Pre-purchase is already available now and will give you extra consumable items in the game. You can check it out on Steam.
