This Maya-Made Spider-Verse Animation Makes You Wish for the Third Movie

You just can't stop rewatching おぐ's latest sequence.

3D Modeler and Animator おぐ, who previously impressed us with their stunning first-person gun-handling animations, has wowed us once again by unveiling a new sequence inspired by the Spider-Verse franchise.

Complete with subtle, easy-to-miss smears and intentionally reduced framerate, おぐ's latest animation looks incredibly authentic and almost indistinguishable from the behind-the-scenes showcases shared by Spider-Verse's actual creators. According to the artist, the artwork was set up in Maya using Yuri Lima's Miles Morales rig, available via TurboSquid.

You can check out more of the おぐ's incredible works by visiting their ArtStation and Twitter pages:

This project includes assets, maps, materials, Blueprints, and effects created in the Unreal Engine. Each asset was created for realistic AAA quality visuals, style, and budget.
