This Photorealistic UE5 Train Sim Receives Updates

Take a look at a new demo from Running Train by Rizu.

Solo Developer known as Rizu unveiled a new highly realistic demo from their WIP train-driving simulator called Running Train. The developer shared that they avoided motion blur by limiting wheel rotation above 20 km/h and using a radial blur mesh instead.

Running Train is set in a fictitious Japanese rural railway, dubbed the Takahashi-Hayama Railway. Players take on the role of a train operator, enjoying picturesque landscapes outside the window. The sim features incredibly lifelike graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. With Running Train, the developer seeks to take digital realism to the next level, using UE5 to create visuals that are as realistic as possible.
