This Surreal UE5 Game Features Hand-Drawn Graphics & Eerie Vibes

Game Developer Pazatrah showcased this demo of a first-person psychological horror game, My Paper Forest, which features a surreal, eerie atmosphere crafted with hand-drawn visuals. The game was created with Unreal Engine 5.

The developer collaborated with a friend who works in a distinctive artistic style, and together they crafted this project. While the gameplay is not overly complicated, the creators placed a strong emphasis on visuals and atmosphere. All textures in the game were hand-drawn, contributing to its unique look and aesthetic.

My Paper Forest is set in eerie woods where players must navigate and escape a crumbling reality, anticipating unseen dangers while collecting fragments of clues. However, the experience may not be what it initially appears, and the players need to uncover that mystery.
